Here's what parents have to say about our after-school programs!
Our son loves science! I am a high school science teacher and love that you give these opportunities for young kids! :)
Rancho Cordova, CA
My son has attended the Mad Science after-school programs every year starting from Kindergarten! We love how excited he has been after each class to tell us about the cool things his Mad Scientist did! We can't wait to do it again this year!
When I pick up my son from school on Fridays, his energy is different from any other day. Instead of the usual response to my questioning of his day's experience - "it was fine"- I hear an enthusiastic stream of science facts and stories of experiments. When we get home, he demonstrates what he's done with the kits Mad Science gives him to take home. Thank You Mad Science!!

What is your refund policy?
A refund will be made to any parent who withdraws a child prior to the second week of the program. A $25.00 processing fee will be applied to all refund requests. Withdrawal after the second week is not subject to a refund. Refunds will not be issued for classes missed by the child.+
When do I pay?
Payment is required at the time of registration. Mad Science accepts checks or credit cards (over the phone, on the registration form or through our on-line registration system).+
What are your program and class cancellation policies?
A program can be cancelled for insufficient enrollment. You will be notified several days in advance and given options for refund or application to other Mad Science programs. If the school cancels an individual week of class, we will attempt to schedule a make-up class, contingent on time and facility availability.+
The class has already started, can I still register?
If there is still space available in the class, you may late register by calling us at (916) 779-0390. Please note that we do not prorate the cost for missed classes and there is a $10 service charge for late registrations.+
My child usually attends aftercare at the school. Can he/she still participate?
Yes! Simply select "daycare" as the pickup option at the time of registration and our instructor will make sure your student is escorted to the on-site aftercare program at the conclusion of the class.+
When and where do I pick up my child after class?
Parents must arrive promptly to sign out their children at the conclusion of class. A $60 per hour supervision fee will be charged in increments of 15 minutes if your child has not been picked up within 5 minutes of the class ending. Alternatively, parents may change their release profile to "walk home" via the website or a call to the office.+
Who is responsible for my child's attendance in the class?
Parents are responsible for their child’s attendance in all Mad Science Before and After School Programs. Students can be forgetful, so please remind your child every week that Mad Science class will be held that day.+
My child has allergies, other medical concerns or a disability. Can he/she still participate and how does your staff handle students with special needs?
We welcome any and all students who have a passion for science and desire to participate in our programs. However, please note that our instructors are not trained to handle special needs. Additionally, our instructors are not certified to dispense medication and cannot administer medicine to students during the program.+
